Location: Nerviano, Lombardy area, Italy Type: Full-time, On-site About Frontage Laboratories Frontage Laboratories is an award-winning global contract research organization, headquartered in Pennsylvania, USA, with broad expertise in supporting pre-clinical and clinical drug development. Frontage operates over 25 sites across the USA, Canada, China, and Italy. Frontage's core competencies include drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, clinical research, and core laboratory services for clinical trials. Position Responsibilities This individual will lead a team of operations and support functions, partner with various corporate and site functional leaders and their teams, coordinate with internal and external partners, advisors, and consultants, and support the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations of the site. Education and Experience 5-10 years of leadership experience in facilities management, general administration, and stakeholder management in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or contract research organization. Bachelor's degree in science or business; Master's degree may be preferred. Good collaboration, business, financial, and people skills. Experience and the ability to set aggressive timelines and execute projects. Experience and background in general administration, vendor management, facility maintenance, and coordinating construction projects. Experience with local health, safety, and legal compliance issues in operating or managing a GLP and non-GLP site. Experience dealing with government agencies, including the health ministry. Experience working in a GLP environment and familiarity with FDA, EMA, CLIA, and other regulatory guidelines. Preferred Skills Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a cross-functional team to high performance. Ability to excel in a fast-paced and multi-cultural scientific/technical environment while simultaneously managing multiple time-sensitive and business-critical projects. Strong analytical and business skills with a growth mindset. Ability to represent Frontage in local and regional forums and enhance Frontage's brand to generate new business leads.
