SITE QUALITY MANAGER - UK POWER PLANT SHUTDOWN

Job Description/Activity:

To support the Site Manager for implementation quality management system on site;

Typical Duties

- Supervise the proper preparation of Inspection and Test reports, ensuring the

compliance with the Test plan and/or scope of work;

- Interface the Client on the QA/QC aspects of the site and attend Client's Project

Coordination Meeting;

- Verify that the measuring equipment endowment to the site, including those used by subcontractors, has been calibrated before the expiring date and before their use;

- Verify that NDT and Welding Personnel operating on Site are provided of documents attesting their qualification;

- Manage the NDT Personnel interventions on the basis of the applicable Inspection and Test Plan;

- Get in touch with the Head-office for field activities Coordinator for the resolution of all noncompliance and verifies that the measures capable of solving the same noncompliance are performed;

- Verify that as a consequence of the inspection, measuring ant test activities performed the documentation of the record is issued;

- Collaborate with the Fact Finder/Fleet Engineer to assure that the final dossiers records the activities foreseen by Inspection and Test Plan.

Education and Experience

- High School graduation or degree;

- 2 years (at least) experience on gas turbine, generator and/or steam turbine assemblies or 5 years (at least) experience in related duties or 1 year (at least) of experience in welding (for welding controller profile only) and/or 1 year (at least) of experience in electrical and instrumentation installation activities

- French &/or English Languages (fluently spoken and written);

- Applicable standards and codes (i. e.

EN, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, API, BS, SSP, IEC etc. )

good knowledge;

- NDT Level II (SNT-TC 1A, CIC PND or equivalent);

- Welding process knowledge (WPS/PQR, GTAW, GSMAW, SMAW, SAW, etc.

), electrical equipment or installation knowledge.
