SME Product Manager (maternity cover) - 9 months FTC
Overview:
The Europe Small Business Segment Payments team leverages Mastercard's assets and strategic partnerships to create a world beyond card with valued experiences for our distribution partners and their end users.
The European Small Business Segment team leads the creation, build and running of the Mastercard Small Business Segment Solutions enabling and supporting the Eco System of Buy Operate and Sell.
The primary responsibility of this role is for supporting divisional product management, account managers in driving business growth for specific solutions, services and capabilities across the product lifecycle - from launch to maturation.
Align the Small Business initiatives and divisional regional and global strategies are aligned and executed against collaboratively.
This role enables the consistent high quality delivery of scalable, maintainable and agile small business solutions by composing, maintaining and executing a regional strategic roadmap that addresses business needs while leveraging the unique competitive advantages that our solutions offers.
Role:
- Develop understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle (e. g. , Studio framework), actively works to improve experience and skills
- Drive product development focusing on customer journey and experience
- Prepare launches and monitors product performance, adoption, and operational health
- Review information on competitors' product offerings, business models and technology innovations on a regular basis and shares findings
- Identify opportunities to improve an overall product lifecycle processes
- Use customer needs, research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to document business and product requirements
- Display judgment to know when to escalate issues and liaise with cross-functional teams for resolution
- Support and participate in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into enhancements
- Own and manage product documentation ensuring it is clear and easily consumable by product, cross-functional and engineering teams
- Take initiative and actively seek and participate in activities which stretches ones existing skill set
- Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business management
Provide ongoing vendor support, from contracting, onboarding to relationship management
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews and pipeline management

Card product management experience
Strong execution skills, able to get things done through collaboration with partners across the region
Self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
