Sme / Product Specialist - Settlement & Corporate Actions

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Product Specialist with extensive experience in Settlement and Corporate Actions within the Italian market.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Provide expert knowledge on settlement and corporate actions for the Italian market, ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices.

- Act as a key contact for market operations, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies in Italy.

- Work closely with internal teams to enhance product functionality, support clients, and optimize settlement processes.

- Analyze and resolve complex issues related to trade settlement, reconciliations, and corporate events (dividends, mergers, stock splits, etc.

).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, and Risk) to improve system performance and operational efficiency.

- Contribute to product enhancements, ensuring alignment with market changes and client needs. Support system migrations, UAT testing, and training activities for internal and external stakeholders.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- 5+ years of experience in Settlement & Corporate Actions within the Italian market.

- Strong understanding of Italian financial regulations, market structures, and securities processing.

- Experience working with market infrastructures, custodians, and central depositories in Italy.

- Proficiency in Italian and English (German is a plus).

- Experience with CAD platform is a strong advantage.

- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and stakeholders.

- Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in business analysis, system enhancements, or financial product development.

- Knowledge of settlement systems, SWIFT messaging, and post-trade operations.

- Familiarity with financial software platforms and market regulation updates.
