The role:

**What will you do?

- Administering, supporting and training of SAM Solutions

- Executing Proof of Concepts in customer environments

- Supporting and training of global SAM consultants and customers from other subsidiaries on SAM Solutions

- Managing and supporting hosted and on-premise SAM solutions

- Technical evangelist and bridge between SoftwareOne and SAM Solution Providers

- Consulting customers regarding SAM project requirements including licensing requirements, risk mitigation and cost savings opportunities

- Interaction directly with customers to troubleshoot and solve configuration issues

- Manage and administer SAM tools and transfer knowledge to customer

- Document customer configurations within their environment

- Technical and project coordination with project manager and customer point of contact to drive success

- Can independently develop comprehensive analyses of the current business situation, including benchmarks, projections for the future and options for action

- Can conduct business conversations regarding out-tasking plus paid advisory workshops to structure the existing and the desired IT service landscape; can design and define a complex operational model

- Has advanced know-how of IT Asset Management and the licensing of tier-1 publishers (Microsoft, SAP, ) plus the essential licensing knowledge about all other tier 1 publishers and some tier-2 publishers as well.

What we need to see from you:

- Advanced software product licensing and customer influence skills

- Solid understanding of IT environments and infrastructure

- Ability to configure SAM solutions both remotely and on-site for customer engagements

- Knowledge of CMDB's, and Software Management tools / solutions highly desired

- Analytical and Project Management skills

- Highly motivated and results oriented

- Ability to work independently

- Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills

- Very good problem solving and consultative skills required

- Technical and Sales oriented personality required for customers facing projects
