**Job overview**:
**_SMS _**is the acronym of Sanofi Manufacturing System, management approach based on Lean Manufacturing concepts.
**:**Sanofi Industrial Affairs is starting an accelerated journey for all our sites to improve performance and transform into fully digital plants: paperless in all operations, capturing and leveraging data, changing the user experience from shopfloor to management.
**The role of the SMS team is to drive Industrial excellence to achieve the site's Strategy and Ambition.
SMS team brings a high level of expertise and leadership in SMS methodology, industrial performance, digital solutions, transformation and change management.
SMS teams collaborates with all functions in the site, with platform SMS and actively contribute to the Sanofi SMS network
**SMS Family transformation is a key opportunity to embrace Factory 4. 0 on the 3 pillars: culture, performance, operating model leveraging digital and play an active role in bringing our sites to the Factory of the Future.
**Responsibilities**:
**Strategy**:
- **Responsible for Site Performance Roadmap**:
- **Builds SMS, Transformation and Digital capabilities by deploying SMS upskilling program to deliver site roadmap**:
- **Improves Data Governance at site level by assembling BSO in a consistent governance model**:
- **Contributes to Improve materials management
**Deploys transformation and performance initiatives including roll-out of**:
- **Digital products Factory 4. 0 & Manufacturing Core Models including roll-out of Digital**:
- **Owner of SMS roadmap including all SMS assessment (MA/orga/Certif)
**Management**:
- **Sets up and develop SMS teams**:
- **Follows execution of the strategy at site level (governance definition, budget, effort, monitoring, prioritization, challenge, managing roadblocks & risk management)**:
- **Ensures efficient resource utilization and alignment on Site performance objective**:
- **Ensures Performance initiatives are delivered on-time and within established budgets, while delivering the committed value to the site performance**:
- **Prepares the stakeholder landscape across the site for major SMS change initiatives (incl.
clear and effective communication)**:
- **Provides leadership and coaching to ensure that Site Performance deliver well defined and quantified outcomes
**Transformation**:
- **Develops Data Driven and continuous improvement mindset at site level to enable successful deployment of the site's strategic roadmap (including digital transformation)**:
- **Provides leadership & strategic vision regarding the Transformation activities, including: Communication strategy, HOI (Human Organizational Impact) identification and management, Training (strategy, modules preparation, delivery), deployment of Factory 4. 0**:
- **Challenges prioritize and coordinate implementation of transformation and continuous improvement initiatives throughout business cases
**Performance**:
- **Establish and ensure connectivity of performance related processes and systems: Strat Plan, Strategy Cascade
- Site priorities, Performance Plan, 3P, Act4**:
- **Own 3P for the site, contribute to the identification of levers to drive performance**:
- **Anticipates issues, escalate, take action and drive initiatives to course correct & provide deep problem-solving expertise across a range of business topics**:
- **Contributes actively to Costs of Goods optimization
**Digital and ITS core model (this part can be delegated to a temporary position on site with more than 800 people)**:
- **Builds Design digital roadmap, aligning all departments & ITS to best meet site needs - aligned with Strategic Cascading = Core models, Digital 4. 0, local digital projects**:
- **Coordinates digital roll out planning between site & global team (planning / team / scope / governance / execution / upskilling)**:
- **Ensures the alignment of the site's footprint (equipment, flows, organization) to ITS core model**:
- **Leads the governance to track progress of all digital programs**:
- **Promotes the digital products use and capture their operational impact**:
- **Supports continuous improvement of data accuracy and processes**:
- **Drives clarity in site's data ownership and systematically improve data quality
**SMS capabilities and SMS network**:
- **Ensures that SMS standards to manage performance are implemented on site**:
- **Interacts with external bodies to broaden knowledge base and maintain a current knowledge of industry best practices**:
- **Develops SMS Capabilities (including Factory 4. 0 and data culture) to ensure their skills and experiences match the needs of projects and site organization, now and in the future.

- **Contributes with the global team and across platforms to standards, to develop SMS skills**:
- **Supports best practice sharing cross-sites
**Qualifications and know-how**:
- **Master's degree in Life Sciences or Engineeri
