Role & Cyber Security Career Opportunity!

Responsibilities

Under supervision of SOC Manager and Team Leader, learn how to and be responsible for:

**_ Preparation Phase_

- Manage and monitor events.

- Professionally and courteously answer inbound security-related communications.

- Create and manage Trouble Tickets (TTs).

**_ Engagement_

- Fill out necessary checklist paperwork.

- Perform the event analysis following playbooks.

- Tune IPS configuration to block attacks.

- Escalate the event in incident if necessary.

**_ Reporting_

- Generate incident triage reports.

- Submit playbook improvements.

Knowledge and Skills

- Fluent English

- Other languages are a nice to have.

- Basic knowledge on Networking and protocols.

- Basic knowledge on network infrastructures.

- Basic knowledge on cybersecurity.

- General understanding of malware.

- Must have a passion for technology.

- Have a general quest to learn and gain knowledge.

- Certifications are beneficial but not a must.

(CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSA, Microsoft MTA Infrast, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, (ISC)2 SSCP, GIAC GSEC)
