Job Description
Software Developer for railway applications, based in Genoa, Italy.
Accountabilities
Detailed requirements definition for software components
Design and implementation of software components
Verification and testing of developed software
Release and support of delivered software components
Required Skills/ Knowledge
Knowledge of software development methodologies (agile methodologies, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, DevOps, …)
Object Oriented Design and Programming
Knowledge of the following programming languages: Javascript, Python, C/C++, Java
Knowledge of Linux operating system
Desired Skills/ Knowledge
Knowledge of containerization technologies, specifically Docker
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, Oracle, Redis, MongoDB)
Knowledge of Railway Traffic Management domain
Ability to work in a team environment
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science)
Languages
English written and spoken.
