Key accountabilities and decision ownership

- Should be able to express the design ideas and thoughts.

- Should focus on programmability and automation of work through scripts and system engineering

- Prepare mid and long term technology plan, in line with Vendor's roadmap and technology evolution, to cope with customers' and traffic growth ensuring service quality and network performance according to business requirements

- Prepare mid and long term financial planning activities (Detailed budget, regular budget updates and Long Range Plan)

- Evaluate Vendors' technical and commercial offers and support SCM and VPC activities during commercial negotiations with theVendors

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

- Ideally Degree qualified or equivalent experience

- Several years' professional experience in telecommunication or IT

- Hands on Core Java & Python Programming Skills.

- Knowledge on Micro services framework using Web Services like rest/soap.

- Exposure to Python, Bash, Jenkins, GIT, GCS services, SonarQube, Ansible & terraform, Fabric, Chef, Puppet, Go, Teamcity.

- Exposure to front end technologies like, React JS, Angular. js, JS, and HTML.

- Good development experience with RDBMS, NoSQL databases.

- Good knowledge of multi-threading and load balancer server development Experience.

- Cloud computing architecture and design (IT and Telco)

Desirable:

Knowledge on VMware scripting
