Job Title: Software Development LeaderResponsible for the software design, development, and testing of applications for railway diagnostics data management systems, in the field of train communication and diagnostics systems. Manage software development resources and activities on the assigned project. Ensure QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) management of software development activities. Responsibilities:Organize and lead software development activities ensuring QCD commitment until the end of software development. Define software functional requirements specifications and ensure verifiability of all requirements. Ensure traceability of software requirements throughout the development cycle. Define software architecture and development concept (development tools, methodology, coding strategy, etc.
). Contribute to software integration with software designers. Contribute to hardware/software integration with the hardware architect. Specify, design, prepare, and perform tests and verifications of the software. Contribute to standardization by reusing existing solutions or defining reusable solutions, including COTS. Apply and ensure adherence to processes and standards. Contribute to continuous improvement (RoE: Return of Experience, process, etc.
). Define the software configuration management plan with the configuration manager. Define the software quality plan with the quality manager. Define software verification and validation plans with other software architects and V&V architects. Maintain and control KPIs for the project and report to the Software Domain Leader. Educational Requirements:Master's degree or bachelor's degree in the field of electronic or software engineering required. Experience:Hands-on development experience in software phases such as requirement gathering, software development, and hardware-software integration (minimum of 2 years' experience in Railway or Automotive domain). Extensive experience in software design and implementation for complex diagnostics data management systems. Experience managing work packages for sub-contractors. Highly proficient in both spoken and written English. Ability to work efficiently in a team. Good communication and reporting capabilities. Open to change and willing to undertake new tasks. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Result-oriented. You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
