For our Pisa based office We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer with proven ability in creating 3D interactive applications, managing massive datasets, designing and implementing complex algorithms and performance optimization techniques.

As a Software Engineer in IDS GeoRadar you will be a part of a team of world-class developers in continuous growth with the challenge to apply cutting-edge technologies for the design and development of customer friendly software solutions.

You will be always engaged in a dynamic and stimulating international environment with a global impact on various areas of application, such as: secure people safety in dangerous environments, prevent risk hazards in monitoring buildings and infrastructures, develop software products for detecting buried objects or for inspecting structures and materials underground.

What we want you to do:Work in team on the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release)Produce fully functional software applications writing quality codeWork on requirements and suggest solutionsStay up-to-date with new technology trendsCompliance with workplace health and safety requirements What would we like to see:Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent. 5+ years of proven experience in software developmentFluent in data structures, multi-threading, design patterns, data modelingStrong in Problem Solving and implementation of complex algorithms. Strong Object-Oriented Design and programmingStrong with C++Experience with visualization libraries (VTK, OpenGL)Working effectively with Windows and Linux OS. Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently. Experience with processing 3D data algorithms is a plusFamiliarity with Agile and Scrum methodology is a plusFamiliarity with testing techniques and test automation is a plusFamiliarity with CI environment is a plusLanguages:Italian: strong written and spoken skillsEnglish: strong written and spoken skills
