YOUR TEAM The selected candidate will join the multi-disciplinary team of developers and designers at the iCub Tech facility, where electronic, mechanical, and software engineers collaborate altogether, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.

The selected candidate will contribute to the joint laboratory between IIT and Danieli Automation.

Danieli Automation is a large international company active in the industry automation field.

The IIT-Danieli joint laboratory carries out research and development in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence applied to industrial automation in hazardous environments.

The goal of the joint laboratory is to reduce risks related to occupational health hazards and thereby increase safety for workers in the steel industry.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic robotics engineer who will join our team to bring modern robotics control, perception planning techniques to the factory floor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields.

Good communication skills and ability to cooperate.

Creative, proactive, and collaborative attitude.

Proficient in English, written and oral.

DESIRABLE SKILLS Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python or Matlab.

Experience with robot middleware systems such as ROS, ROS2, OPC UA, or YARP.

Experience in control or motion planning of robots.

Experience with computer vision and depth sensors.

Experience in working with industrial robots, PLC systems or industrial automation software.

Experience with simulation tools.
