We are seeking experienced Software Test Engineers specialized in Warehouse Automation Systems, with a strong background in software testing and preferably some site testing experience.
Key Responsibilities Test Plan Development: develop detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements and design documents; Functional/System Testing: conduct comprehensive tests on Warehouse Management systems and automation solutions to ensure they meet design specifications and performance standards; Integration Testing: collaborate with software and controls teams to test the integration of various system components, ensuring seamless communication and functionality; Issue Identification and Resolution: identify, document, and troubleshoot issues or bugs during testing phases, working closely with development teams to implement fixes; Documentation: maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, results, and any modifications made during the testing process; Defect Management: identify, document, and track defects using standardized tools and processes; Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and clients to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage; Continuous Improvement: continuously assess and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications BSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of overall experience, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years in automation testing using Java Selenium and TestNG framework; Experience in backend, API testing, and web services such as REST and SOAP; Strong understanding of the warehouse automation or logistics domain; Hands-on experience in software and controls integration in automated systems; Experience with bug/issue tracking tools like JIRA and version control systems like Git; Experience working on Windows and Linux Operating Systems; Experience in estimating requirements and preparing high-level scenarios and test plans; Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; Nice to have: experience in CI/CD and test management tools like TestRail.
