Software Test Engineer

The Symani platform provides the surgeon with the capability to operate on a small scale with ease and precision, thanks to the Symani platform and a variety of Instrument types. The Software Test Engineer will perform SW Tool Tests, Performance Test, SW Build Test and Integration tests on a novel robot for Microsurgery.
Successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a high caliber multidisciplinary team to document test protocols and troubleshooting guides as well as perform acceptance testing. Role ResponsibilitiesPerform SW build Test at every release;Tests functional performance of completed assemblies or subassembly using established procedures and test protocols;Document test procedures and process validation for medical device and associated tools used for VV and installation;Develop modular test scripts to automate test data collection and analysis;Operate and set up test equipment and fixtures;Architect test strategy for a complex medical robotics system developing testing protocols;Troubleshoot failures to module or component level assemblies.
Clearly document the issues and communicate them to Integration Engineers;Lead of test procedures, supporting subsystem and system testing activities;Implementation of test program update;Creating/using standard formats, document templates to generate clear and concise contentRequirements:Computer Science, Electronics, or similar Engineering Degree;Comprehension in reading technical writing;Ability to understand system interconnect diagrams, and test procedures;Able to run SW, dedicated tools and write simple code to extract data or plots;Experience with tools and programs such (e. g Python, Matlab);LabVIEW knowedge is considered a plusInter-disciplinary understanding of robotics, electronics, software and control;Professional written and spoken English.
