RINA is currently recruiting for a Software Tester Engineer to join its office in Rome within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

MissionThe content of the work will be aimed at the analysis, design, and development of software applications for testing aerospace equipment. We would like to get in touch with graduates in computer science or equivalent degree.

Key AccountabilitiesThe following technical skills are required:

Experience and excellent knowledge of C/C++ programming languageKnowledge of NI LabWindows/CVI development environmentExperience with multi-thread programmingKnowledge of XML languageKnowledge of programming and protocols for serial interfaces, Ethernet, discrete/analog signals, MIL STD1553 bus, ARINC-429Good written and spoken knowledge of English languageThe following skills are to be intended as preferred:Knowledge of software safety aspects and DO-178c / DO-330 standardsQualifications- Good understanding of embedded systems and bare metal programming

- Knowledge of Linux operating system

- Experience in software development for embedded systems according to best practices

- Experience in programming languages such as C and C++.

- Familiarity with software development and configuration tools (e. g. , compilers, debuggers, versioning, and configuration tools).

- Knowledge of embedded HW interfaces (e. g. , UART, CAN, SPI, I2C, discrete and analogue signals).
