The Software Verification Validation & Testing Engineer (VV&TE) performs verification and validation activities on functions of Train Control Management System and of Sub-Systems on the project assigned.

The VV&TE is accountable for tests on Train and on Test Benches (HIL for TCMS, Sub-System and Electrical schematics simulated).

In particular, the VV&TE is accountable for: Delivery of Verification & Tests tools to be used during Validation CampaignSetting-up the verification & test environment (including MIL subsystems) applying the appropriate configurationDelivery of TCMS verification & test procedures on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scopePerforming TCMS verification and tests on test-benches and trainsDelivery of TCMS verification & test reports on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scopeDelivery of TCMS coverage matrix on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scopeConfiguration management of Verification & Test deliverables on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope: 100% deliverables properly managed into configuration databaseManagement of validation status of change requests (CR) on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope: all CR status up-to-date in CR database (in line with test procedures and reports)Management of CR on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope: all NOK results in test reports related to a CRKnowledge & Experience required: Experience on LORE platform (NTV/ETR/PKP Trains. . . )Experience on train validationPractical knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalent class tests…)Practical knowledge of validation tools (TestStand, model-based testing tools…)Practical knowledge of validation Means (Testbench, simulators…)Familiar with software development using model based development tools like Matlab / Simulink, Control Build in RailwayKnowledge of network protocols like MVB, WTBKnowledge of train electrical schematicsItalian mother tongue is preferred (LORE platform documentation is available in Italian)Agility and capability to think outside the boxAn agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
