Solids Material Handling Engineer

Tecnimont
is looking for a highly driven and disciplined individual to join our
team as an Material Handling Systems Engineer. Main Responsibilities:Perform engineering design, calculations
and conceptual layouts of a variety of material handling systems.
Specify
equipment and consult with vendors and client on project needs and
deliverables;Understand basics of mechanical
systems and processes for various types of handling systems, specially the
basics of pneumatic applications;Cooperate in Design system
layouts and determine operational requirements so that a detailed system
flow can be generated.
Perform all required calculations to validate
system throughput and workability;Determine and select material
handling packages from the point of view of compliance with technological,
technical, contractual and economic requirements;Follow the supply development, keeping
the necessary technical contacts with the Vendors and accepting the final
reports;Participate (where considered necessary
by the System & Packages Head of Department) in the most important phases
of construction, testing, assembly and starting up;Give assistance to the Team Leaders,
where requested by them, for those machines, which they manage directly;Provide discipline support and input to
other discipline for the detail activities;Participate with project team
and client as directed to prepare or edit project specifications and
reports;Responsible for completion of
assigned project deliverables as it relates to cost and schedule;Track and communicate project
status, both internally and externally. Skills/Competencies:Graduate
in mechanical discipline;Proficient
in AutoCAD 2D/3D software;Proficient
in MS Office;Excellent
verbal and written communication skills;Good knowledge of English language;Open-mindeness and adaptability;Willing to work in
multicultural environments;Effective team player.
