As a Solution Architect (Full Stack Developer) in the Electrification Business Area for the Smart Power Division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of our web configurator platform.

Reporting to the Design, Configuration & Knowledge Sharing Agile Unit, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining a modern, scalable, and maintainable architecture for EL Business applications.

The role will report to the Chapter Leader for Configurator Applications Development Your responsibilities Architecting and developing comprehensive software solutions using the. NET framework and associated technologies Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural decisions meet business requirements Offering expert technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed Developing and maintaining detailed architectural documentation for reference and continuity Assessing and recommending technology stacks, tools, and industry best practices to optimize development processes Guaranteeing the scalability, performance, and security of applications through robust design and implementation strategies Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers to foster growth and knowledge sharing within the team Your background Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e. g. , . NET Solution Architect) are a plus A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in software development, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies At least 5 years of experience in an architect role, providing technical leadership and designing scalable, high-performance software solutions Extensive experience in designing and implementing high-performance web applications using. NET (C#), ASP. NET MVC, ASP. NET Core, and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) Demonstrated expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue. js Strong understanding of relational databases (e. g. , SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e. g. , MongoDB, Firebase Firestore), including proficiency with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) libraries More about us ABB Smart Power is a global technology leader, with products and solutions that make power supplies smart, connected and protected.
