We are seeking a BigFix Technical Advisor (gn) in Italy to join our team. In this exciting role, you will be instrumental in driving new license, subscription, support, and services revenue for BigFix within HCL Software. Job Description The individual will perform in a technical pre-sales and post-sales role for BigFix and Intelligent Operations with clients. Light touch services work may be required occasionally. They will attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements, ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution. They will be responsible for providing technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes, working continuously on the long-term success of the account in concert with other HCL employees and partners. Experience The candidate for the BigFix Technical and Intelligent Operations Advisor role will ideally have three plus years of combined hands-on systems administration, endpoint operations/management, and cybersecurity knowledge. This knowledge can come from a career in IT, Sales Engineering with a vendor, or both. Knowledge across multiple operating systems and some scripting background is highly valued. The ideal candidate is proactive, taking the initiative to create solutions where they are absent and applying creative problem-solving for the benefit of the customer and HCL business. Responsibilities Attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements, ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution. Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes. Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally. Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to channel partners, customers, and internal stakeholders. Create internal design configuration documentation including network diagrams with technical explanations. Work with Product Management and Engineering to provide feedback on issues with current products and input for new products. Build productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities. Perform technical development for solutions as part of a design and development framework to benefit customers and internal stakeholders. Deploy installations and configurations as well as troubleshooting in customer environments. Able to understand business drivers and risks involved with the customer. Sell technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm. Provide accurate and timely management information, including activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, and KPIs. Create or deliver technical demos and enable product sellers.
