Job SummaryBlue Yonder is searching for a key Pre-Sales expert to join our Supply Chain Execution team, working closely with sales and our customers throughout EMEA.
Major ResponsibilitiesCoordinates with various Blue Yonder resources and departments to secure and present appropriate proposal information to prospective and existing clientsCommunicates customer requirements to New Product Development/Product Management GroupServes as the liaison between the client and implementation team to facilitate successful project implementationsProvides value to the Client Partner and Services Partner and Account Manager during the sales cycleWorks with Marketing to develop collateral product support materials and promote Blue Yonder events and trade showsPrepares extensively prior to a sales engagement with internal Blue Yonder business areas i. e. , Sales Management, Services Partners and Services Consulting ensuring maximum efficiency once the sales engagement beginsWorks in partnership with Account Managers and Client Partners to present additional solutions to current clients to solve their business needsBecomes directly involved with potential customers via proposal requests or actively prospecting for new business opportunitiesIn collaboration with Account Manager or Client Partner, presents product functionality and benefits to prospective clientsDemonstrates how the proposedmethodology can add substantial value in replacing the client's current business environmentEstablishes relationship with the primary decision maker to facilitate future business developmentWorks closely with the customer in discovery sessions and ongoing follow-up discussions to ensure clear and concise communication is taking placeConsiders the margin impact in preparing request for proposalControls personal spending and provides fiscal management during a sales cycleEscalates issues that may have negative financial impactKnowledge required:
5+ years' experience in a pre-sales or consulting role Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS) processes, procedures and best practicesStrong communications skills with the ability to guide an audience through clear, concise communication techniques.
Knowledge/Experience of SAAS, AI, ML, IOT a distinct advantageAbility to collaboratively work with other team members to achieve desired goals and objectives both internal and external.
Effective public speaking skills with the ability to control an audience convey necessary concepts and overcome objections.
Flexible team player with the desire to pursue personal and team improvement.
Ability to travel throughout the region. Fluent in English and 1 other European language is essential
