We are looking to recruit an exceptionally motivated, expert and talented individual as Solution Architect to join our Group IT Digital team within A. S. Watson. +

The Solution Architect will be required to provide technical directions to all teams on business, development and support level for coherence and consistency with multichannel European eCommerce architecture, standards and best practices.

The resource will collaborate with the Development Team Lead, to guarantee the respect of the functional requirements and the satisfaction of the internal clients for the quality and the performance of the websites.

SAP Hybris Commerce, Microservices, Performances, Innovation, Security and others.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the eLab Product Design Team, eLab Commercial and other GIT Stakeholders to define and implement the strategic technology direction for the multichannel eCommerce development

Supervise the continuous improvement process to make sure that the proposed new functionalities are the best solutions in terms of consistency with multichannel eCommerce architecture, standards and best practices, but also convenient within the possible options in terms of budget

Explore and promote business advantages of innovation, guiding the selection of tools, products and technologies to address the evolving needs of the multichannel eCommerce development (to be new component of continuous improvement process)

Support the all eLab team members from a technical perspective to grant high quality is delivered and best practices are followed

Depending on the business needs your role may include presenting to key internal digital stakeholders, working on project bids.

You'll be expected to define the technical solution, manage key technical risks and help shape the delivery of our solutions.

In particular you'll have experience architecting solution to meet high performance, availability and security requirements

Think outside ofthe box to support the business with innovative solutions to achieve our strategic objectives in line with the architecture that is in place

Coach and mentor team members and perform code reviews

Have an understanding of the whole system and take responsibility for teaching this to others

Support the Elab Tech Europe Digital Solutions Architect in defining the best solutions to implement

Work tightly with the team members, also with those remotely located

Work with other teams to support all phases that precede and follow software development

Be ready to jump into the dirt and write complex pieces of code or fix important issues on the live environments

Core Competencies

Education, Experience and Skills required:

Minimum 2 year experience of working in analogous job role

Minimum 5 years' experience of working in eCommerce projects

Strong Knowledge and experience on top enterprise Ecommerce platforms (SAP CX, Oracle commerce, Salesforce commerce, IBM Websphere commerce)

Hands-on experience in Java, Java EE and Spring Framework design and development

Hands-on experience in frontend technologies

Working knowledge of integration technologies like REST, SOAP, JMS

Project management capabilities will be required

Strong knowledge of Versioning Control Software (Git)

Devops skills are a plus

Experience with collaboration software (like Jira) is a plus

Retail industry experience preferred
