Solutions Sales Manager (M/F/X)
Tridonic are recruiting for a Solutions Sales Manager with the intent to generate profitable revenue growth and to maximize sales by consulting customers directly or through a network of local ECO system partners on how they can benefit from the smart connected lighting solutions and services from Tridonic.
**Our office is located in Padua (Italy) and your remit will include**:
**Business Development**:
- To perform market research and to define new opportunities within targeted segments in order to develop and deploy sales strategies to maximize business opportunities.
- Support and participate actively in marketing activities by attending trade fairs, conferences and other industrial events.
- Identify and develop targeted customer accounts and to position Tridonic solutions and services in the early project pursuit phase with the intent to spec-in the appropriate systems.
- Develop and manage relationships with the main stakeholders.
**Sales Management**:
- Accountable for local sales revenue and gross margin of the smart connected lighting solutions and services from Tridonic.
- Actively pursue new leads and nurture a pipeline of opportunities to build the sales funnel by generating interests and demands.
- Develop value based presentations to support the selling process.
- Develop account planning using Tridonic CRM tools, prepare and submit customer quotations and administer customer accounts.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions in order to close and book orders.
**Channel Partners**:
- Identify and establish an approved local ECO system channel partner network with lighting control or building automation system integrators and preferred luminaire OEM manufacturers to expand market reach.
- Accountable to manage channel partners performance through regular business reviews and assessment of market and project opportunities.
Own and nurture the channel partner relationships.
- Accountable to ensure that channel partners are adequately trained and proficient in selling, proposing, supporting and servicing Tridonic smart connected lighting systems.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education and transitional post-sales support as required to partners during customer engagement.
- Actively partner with local Tridonic OEM sales colleagues to align customer and sales strategies.
**Sales Processes**:
- To extensively use the CRM tools to manage and analyze the sales funnel and to generate management reports.
- To maximize usage of tools and templates designed to support opportunity qualification and proposal submission processes.
**Ihr Profil
**We are looking for a self-motivated, highly driven and a sales-oriented individual who is able to work in a team environment**:
- You have experience in a solutions sales role with 5 -10 years working in a building automation or lighting control industry.
- Direct sales and or managing sales through system partners is a necessity.
- A first degree in IT or Engineering or Sales or Marketing Management is required.
- Having a technical background in lighting control engineering and design is an added advantage.
- You are able to take action on own initiative and can deliver accurately and on-time.
- You are able to act fast, independently and functions well under pressure in a fast changing environment.
- Fluency in English and the local language with excellent communication skills are a must.
- Extensive regional and or local travels are expected.
