Solutions Sales Manager - Research Management

About the Role
As a Solution Sales Manager, you will be responsible for new sales, customer engagement activities and commercial renewals.
You will build relationships with our customers to identify future opportunities and successfully negotiate and close deals.
You will highlight risks and opportunities to the business and shape the use of data-driven decision making.
**Responsibilities**:
- Taking ownership for new sales, up-selling opportunities and on-boarding activities to achieve revenue growth of our portfolio
- Creating and executing a successful penetration plan to identify potential customers using a consultative selling approach
- Developing a compelling understanding of competitor landscapes to be able to position our solutions successfully and attractively against these
- Developing an understanding of relevant customer segments our solutions are sold into, translating the solution value to be segment specific
- Negotiating and closing contracts for new sales and renewals by ensuring we provide an exceptional service
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in our field and market segment to share with internal teams to help meet sales objectives
**Requirements**:
- Demonstrate a solid, proven new-sales track record in comparative environments
- Have a background in complex solution sales approach using Consultative Selling
- Have excellent analytical and presentation skills
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to build successful relationships
- Have experience in sales prospecting and negotiating large and complex deals
- Demonstrate good knowledge or experience gained from an Engineering field
- Have experience working in an international matrix organization
