This role reports to the Wine Ambassador and is instrumental in enhancing our guests' overall culinary journey.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:

- Curate and manage an extensive and diverse wine list tailored to our exceptional dining offerings.

- Provide genuine and insightful wine recommendations to guests, enhancing their dining experience.

- Conduct wine tastings and training sessions for the restaurant team.

- Maintain inventory control and monitor stock levels, ensuring the best selection is always available.

- Plan and execute wine-related events and promotions to attract and engage guests.

- Work closely with the kitchen team to develop wine pairings that elevate the dining experience.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Sommelier in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.

- Expertise in wine and food pairing, with in-depth knowledge of Italian and international wines.

- Fluent in English and Italian; proficiency in a third language is a plus.

- Culinary background is advantageous but not required.

- Certification from a recognized sommelier association (e. g. , AIS, FISAR).

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on guest service.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
