MISSION/WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You will be placed within a leading DIY and home decorating company.

Thanks to our corporate vision and our ability to adapt, dynamically and forecast demand, we are developing our European Sourcing Team, part of it in Italy, to expand our supplier portfolio and implement our pro-customer approach.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will work closely with purchasing managers, liaising with local product managers, to build and maintain a competitive supplier portfolio to meet target prices and product specifications in line with end customer requirements;

- You will evaluate supplier capabilities to improve efficiency in terms of quality, cost, and delivery;

- You will constantly monitor the market;

- You will ensure on-time and on-delivery of projects;

- You will ensure suppliers' good understanding of the project;

- You will negotiate international contract terms and ensure that suppliers sign local contracts;

- You will support and work effectively with counterparts internationally in order to maintain good relationships with the Global Sourcing team and Product, Purchasing and Supply Chain departments locally.

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Master's degree in a technical field, preferably management engineering or economics

- Minimum 4 years of experience in sourcing, buying, or product development

- Digital mindset and good knowledge of IT tools (Google Suite, Excel)

- Good knowledge of English and Italian, knowledge of French preferred

- Excellent knowledge of procurement procedures

- Excellent knowledge and understanding of industrial processes

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent negotiation skills

- Project management skills

- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Willingness to travel
