**Position overview**:

In position of the Sourcing Specialist Indirect you will be responsible for sourcing indirect goods and services, ensuring their safe, competitive (TCO), high-quality, and timely supply for allnex site in Italy, Romano d'Ezzelino.

Additionally, you will handle assigned categories within the EMEA region, focusing on strategic and commercial aspects while coordinating implementation.

Effective communication and buy-in from site managers within the assigned plant are essential for success in this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide production site with sufficient reliable and compliant sources of supply, with competitive prices and on-spec deliveries.

- Implement sourcing strategies defined, in alignment with Procurement Manager Indirect and own peers.

- Draft and execute (supplier selection, negotiation and contract definition) sourcing strategies for assigned categories of indirect goods and services, developing knowledge of internal needs and external factors.

- Set savings plan, (improvement) targets and monitor suppliers performance.

- Work in close co-operation with respective key stakeholders, e. g. , site management, engineering, SHE, etc.

- Act as primary contact towards key suppliers, make sure supplier performance against agreed upon key performance indicators is reviewed and action plans for continuous improvement are defined.

- Drive the optimization of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), manage cost saving pipeline to ensure regional targets for cost reduction are met.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Higher education, minimum Bachelor degree, in Economics, Engineering and/or MBA or equivalent by experience.

- 2-3 years of relevant experience within Sourcing or Procurement organization in industrial field.

- Strong technical affinity, experience with procurement of industrial goods & services in indirect procurement.

- Good negotiation & contracting skills as well as hands-on mentality.

- Ability to perform market, supplier and product analysis in a thorough and critical manner in order to understand competitive pricing and positioning.

- Ability to present data and conclusions from analyses in an organized, clear and concise manner.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

- Good knowledge of English and Italian, both writing and reading.

- Working knowledge of computers and proficient with PC software, SAP basic knowledge desirable.
