Functieomschrijving Randstad Italia Inhouse Services is currently recruiting a Navigation System Engineer for an aerospace client based in Rome.

As a member of the Navigation SIVV Unit, your responsibilities will include supporting the design of processes for the assembly, integration, and verification of satellite navigation systems.

The work will be based in Rome, with occasional travel for on-site testing or customer meetings.

Responsabilit Tasks support the System Navigation Team in defining System Integration and Verification activities for Navigation Programs contribute to defining the Project's test strategy and Qualification campaign contribute to defining the System assembly, Integration, and Verification Plan contribute to defining the Operational Validation Plan contribute to defining prepare Review Verification Matrixes adhering to applicable standards contribute to creating System Test Cases for Ground and Space Segments, including compatibility tests campaign definition support the definition of System Test Tools, providing requirement specifications for tools needed in the AIV Plan and Test Cases conduct test execution, including planning, schedule definition, collaboration with other partners conduct Test Data analysis, prepare Test Reports and contribute to the preparation of the Verification Control Document.

Functie-eisen Competencies graduate in Computer/Electronic/Automation/Telecommunication Engineering with or equivalent fluent English, spoken and written knowledge of GNSS systems experience in data elaboration in Matlab/C/C++/Python (one or more) knowledge and experience in Real Time systems, LAN/WAN, software design and/or tests in Linux knowledge about basic telecommunication principles (propagation error, access schema, modulations, etc. )
