Job Title: Project Manager - Finis Terrae Project Location: Rome, Italy About Finis Terrae: Finis Terrae SRL is an innovative small-sized start-up active in the space propulsion sector, based in Rome.

The Finis Terrae Project aims to develop and deliver world-class Green Orbital Propulsion System solutions using an innovative development approach focused on risk-driven decision-making and time to market.

We rely on a young, international team located in Rome and Turin, Italy.

Position Overview: This is a challenging opportunity for a bright graduate in Sciences or Economics to join the Finis Terrae Project.

Aerospace, Electronic, or Mechanical engineers with proven experience in New Product Introduction processes and program/project management techniques are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: Manage Product Development Projects, ensuring the achievement of planning and cost targets, and monitoring project progress.

Active Cycle Management: the job position implies the responsibility of the active cycle for the company, ensuring the rigorous execution of the contracts in the respect of planned economical objectives.

The responsibility implies also the contribution to company economic planning and reporting (e. g.

budget, balance sheet. . . ).

Marketing and Commercial: Contribute to the commercial effort, by actively researching business opportunities and leading proposal lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, in particular customers, providing regular updates on project status, addressing any deviations or risk, .

Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication among team members.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently to meet project objectives and deadlines.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and drive comprehensive project documentation and prepare detailed reports for senior management.

Qualifications: Strong motivation to work in a start-up international environment and tackle the challenges of new product development according to Spiral or Agile processes.

A MSc or PhD in a relevant field (Sciences or Economics) with high marks (please indicate them in your application).

General knowledge of space propulsion ecosystem is appreciated.

Familiarity with Program Management techniques, practices and tools.

It is particularly welcome the knowledge of ECSS norms and practical experience in PSS accounting.
