Thales people architect and deliver satellite-based systems that help position, connect and observe our planet, and push the boundaries of our understanding of planet's resources.

Our systems are in orbit at 400 km, 20000 km, 36000 km and beyond to the edges of the solar system.

**In this role you will be in charge of the performance evaluation for specific product lines on LEO inclined orbits, with their variants and relevant project declinations, covering the following main tasks**:

- **Assess and analyze mission Operational Requirement Documents, ORD.

- **Interface main peers, (i. e.

AEL Arch, Sys E2E, Avionics, Payloads. . )**:

- **Implement Electrical and RFC architectures**:

- **Assess electrical I/F resources, sizing and budgets**:

- **Assess RFC issues through modeling and analysis**:

- **Implement Power architecture in simulation environments**:

- **Assess energy balance, resources sizing and justification**:

- **Able to perform System and S/S IVVQ**:

- **Support AIV across Product Life cycles**:

- **Support OPS team for SVTs, FOP, LEOP sims, LEOP and commissioning

**This request is for a permanent position.

**The working site is Rome, but it might be required working in other locations for short mid-term periods (e. g.

subcontractors technical follow-up, attendance to external test facilities or counseling / support in customer premises)**:

**Short periods of 24h shift working across the full week might be required upon specific program needs (e. g. , AIT or LEOP schedule).

**:

**Education and experience**:

**You have a Master Degree in Electronic, Electrical or Telecommunication Engineering, with explicit focus on radio frequency and EMC.

**:

**You are fluent in English (C1 and above certification) both listening and reading.

**:

**Earth Observation program / spacecraft design and test phases up to the launch / LEOP and commissioning, or Navigation / Telecom platform with Transfer phase accomplished through Electric Propulsion means.

**Skills and knowledge**:

- ** Definition and management of design documentation: specifications, performance analysis, interfaces, budgets, validation.

**:

- ** Analysis, simulation a validation of supply systems and equipment for mission scenario fulfilment**:

- ** Support to satellite test campaign during AIT, launch and in-orbit phases for power sim predictions**:

- ** Basis of Electromagnetics**:

- ** RLC filters and circuit theory**:

- ** Power conditioning systems such as Shunt (S2R, S3R, S4R) and MPPT (Buck, Boost)**:

- ** Matlab / Simulink programming**:

- ** Orchestra Suite (PV: & Doors at least)**:

- ** (Electrical engineering standards is considered a plus)**:
