**WHERE IS CELANESE?
While we call Dallas, Texas home for our headquarters, we have approximately 8, 000 employees working to serve our customers around the world and this will grow to nearly 13, 000 following the successful completion of an acquisition later this year.
From Dallas to Amsterdam to Shanghai, we manage a global network of commercial offices, technical centers, and twenty-seven production facilities and additional strategic affiliate production facilities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the digitization systems of the manufacturing process.
- Implementation of technology to automate workflows and improve collection and use of big data.
- Identify new ways to use automation and advanced technology.
Ensure availability and functionality of production IT systems.
- Develop and maintain clear and accurate documentation of automation equipment or processes.
- Staff training.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of computer programming and software development.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests.
- Creative thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented personality.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to communicate well to other members of the development team.
- Fluent English knowledge.
- 5 or more years of experience in similar position/role.
- Experience in multinational companies is preferred.
**Required Education**:
- Engineering Degree(Automation - Computer - Mechanical or Electrical)
- Master's Degree.
**Desirable Knowledge**:
- Knowledge of MES, PI, IMM and/or other Automation processes.
- Compounding process and equipment knowledge.
- Team building.
