Performs activities and projects related to defect reduction and continuous improvement.

- Implements and coordinates 5S activities.

- Organizes Jishuken and NYS workshops to eliminate MUDA and optimize workflow *Introduces and coordinates MOTO activities.

- Supports QCC (QMS) activities.

- Performs job duties with optimum use of resources, quality and in a timely manner in strict compliance with internal policies, approved Yazaki procedures and legal requirements.

- Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor. - Work shifts, extended and/or off hours as needed.

*Sets clear team goals, tying them to NYS department priorities and company strategic goals.

- Delegates the completion of tasks.

- Communicates information regarding task performance and goal achievement to the team in a timely manner.

- Evaluates work performance of team members through timely and reasoned feedback.

- Coordinates inspectors personnel training.
