Sportswear Account Manager (Wholesale)

- Manage sportswear accounts such as Kappa and Champion

- Work closely with sourcing offices in Turkey, Bangladesh, India etc

- Italian speaker (Work from home or be based in Turkey)

**The Company

Our client is a large multinational buying house with offices in Turkey, India, Bangladesh etc.

Their main business is apparel (fashion, lifestyle, athleisure) selling to retailers in Europe and in the US.

They work with over 150 factories across Asia and Africa turning over $400M a year.

They are seeking a Italian speaking Account Manager to be either based in Turkey or to work from home.

**Sportswear Account Manager: The Role**:

- Maintain and manage existing customer relationships (Key customers: Kappa, Champion, Lotto Sports)

- Present the Sportswear ranges to customers with primarily KPI being to win orders

- Lead volume and price negotiation with customers

- Work in conjunction with design and technical teams regarding sampling

- Be the single point of contact for the customer across all aspects of production, quality, compliance and delivery.

- Manage overall business relationship with the customer

- Raise orders for the factories overseas

- Liaise with the overseas factories and monitor critical path

- Work closely with overseas merchandising and technical teams to ensure order details are met

**Sportswear Account Manager: The Person**:

- Experience in selling Sportswear (Wholesale) to Italian retailers such as Kappa, Champion and Lotto

- Excellent knowledge & experience in apparel manufacturing and production process

- Extensive experience of working in overseas production

- Self motivated, able to work independently with mínimal supervision

- Strong in costing, pricing and negotiation

- Excellent commercial awareness

- Good interpersonal and influencing skills

- Excellent communication skills & fluent in Italian and working knowledge of English - written & verbal

**Salary**: Up to €60, 000 per year
