Job Description: We are currently looking to hire a Business/Data Analyst within our Agile Scrum team.

This position is responsible for supporting Pricing Capability related projects adhering to the duties of Business and Data Analyst.

We are looking for a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is client-focused, team oriented with business analysis, data analysis and problem-solving skills.

The Business/Data Analyst must work with the Product Manager, Stakeholders and Scrum team to thoroughly understand the business requirements and our various data sources, and write User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and Requirements in a way such that developer and testers can code and develop test cases.

What You'll Do: Participate in all stakeholders' meetings; take meeting notes; elicit business needs; document business requirements, process diagram, functional specification, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Work very closely with the Product Manager to finalize artifacts. Attend and engage in all Scrum events such as daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint retrospective and sprint review.

Be a positive collaborator, maximizing team performance and agility. Engage with the scrum team to help clarify and document business requirements, feature specifications, reporting and data related artifacts, and process flows to amplify team's productivity. Able to write complex SQL statements to query databases, have strong understanding of SQL database fundamentals and have expertise with excel formulas to analyze data to make data related business decisions; perform gap analysis and prepare data mapping document. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with diligence and accuracy. Assist with root cause analysis and remediation of production support issues related to pricing features and related data integrity. Maintain relationships with integrated systems partners and vendors to assess or communicate impacts specific to upstream or downstream data changes and document integration requirements. Develop strong knowledge of system integrations and be able to monitor pricing cycles and query database to validate expected daily pricing activities. Work closely with software testers to help identify test plans and test cases to assure complete testing coverage.

Should be able to review, write test cases and execute testing as needed. Perform user acceptance testing, review release notes, and assist with customer trainings. Manage all product-related requirements and system documentation.

Perform release planning and assess success of the product release. Proven ability to be proactive, possess flexible attitude, learn new skills, and manage ambiguity.

Highly organized with effective communication, problem-solving, documentation, and presentation skills. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in a related field. 5+ years' experience in business and data analysis. SQL knowledge and ability to write SQL queries to access databases. Financial Services industry experience is desired. Strong critical thinking skills. Strong business acumen with expertise in full cycle product management. Advanced communication and collaboration skills to build effective, interdisciplinary teams. Prior banking, lending, loan origination, pricing and loan servicing experience is a plus.
