Sr Account Executive

**What we do**:
The EMEA region covers Europe, Middle East and Africa and is the largest growing region for digital advertising outside of north America.
Italy has consistently grown more that 20% year over year for the past decade and as part of this growth the programmatic spend has become the fastest growing marketing channel.
This role sits within the newly formed Italian commercial team and we are searching for a master relationship builder, sales leader, and creative problem solver to join us as the first Senior Account Executive in country.
In this role we expect you to exhibit high emotional intelligence and integrity at all times as you establish yourself as a true consultative business partner to our clients.
You will be leading one of our largest portfolios, driving new business by demonstrating a strong understanding of our clients' needs, developing the right solutions from our product suite and closing the opportunities.
**What you will do**:
- Acquire, build, and cultivate relationships with senior leadership at holding company advertising agencies and brands
- Work collectively with client services and trading teams to cultivate and grow accounts
- Communicate the value of The Trade Desk media buying platform by walking through detailed demonstrations of the product
- Take lead in responding to RFP's or new inner agency opportunities, including qualification & win strategy
- Coordinate global account discussions with go-to-market counterparts across the world
- Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
- Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering
- Contribute to The Trade Desk culture.
**Who you are**:
- An extensive record of experience in digital advertising in outbound sales
- Experience within the online advertising ecosystem, tech sales experience highly preferred
- Existing relationships with decision-makers at advertising agencies and brands
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak with C-level clients
- Strong quantitative skills and negotiations ability
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
- Business fluent in Italian and English.
