Sr Account Manager

Honeywell is looking for a Distribution Channel Account who will work closely with current distributors in the country. The role aims to develop the Value Added Reseller channel (System Integrators, ISVs, Software Houses, Value Added Distributors) in the whole country. The person will join the Italian channel team.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the company's sales and profitability objectives on the reference segment, maintaining commercial relationships with the above-mentioned operators, reporting periodically to management on sales trends and collaborating on product development.
Job responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned goals of sales and volume of business on assigned customers.
- Define, in accordance with company policies, the most appropriate and suitable sales actions according to the needs of each customer
- Periodically review sales trends and identify and implement appropriate actions
- Maintain a database of customers and prospects, manage sales pipeline, and perform intensive work at VAR locations.
- Collaborate to define mid-term commercial strategies and contribute to develop the marketing plan based on the annual budget assigned to distribution.
- Be responsible for the sell in on local distribution and ensure proper product availability.
- Ensure proper sell out management through dedicated commercial actions.
- Constantly explore strategic partners, develop and gradually improve the capability improvement model of strategic channel partners, establish and maintain long-term relationship and mutually beneficial channel cooperation relationship.
Knowledge and skills:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent degree or higher
- At least 5 years of experience selling IT products and services to companies in the VAR industry
- Proven customer portfolio and in-depth knowledge of decision makers within target companies
- Proven track record in acquiring new customers and building profitable long-term relationships
- Excellent communication skills and experience in conducting sales presentations/events
- Knowledge of sales support tools related to new technologies (e. g. , use of professional social networks, webinars, . . . )
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Excellent interpersonal and business skills
- Aptitude for teamworking, particularly with internal and external technical and commercial areas (suppliers and main contractors)
- Autonomy, resourcefulness and creativity, easy adaptability to dynamic and fast-growing contexts
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
