Sr. Accountant (M/F/d)**:

- REQUISITION ID: 8689- LOCATION: Rome, IT, 00144- DEPARTMENT: Controlling / FinanceNordex Italy is looking for a Senior Accountant on a **Permanent **basis to join the team at our office in Rome.

The role is responsible for bookkeeping, accounting and controlling support, as part of the finance function.

**YOUR TASKS**:

- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management

- Vendors' payment management

- Purchase order and invoice matching

- Accounts and bank reconciliations

- Support to the junior accountant, if required

- Employees' travel expenses monitoring

- Support relevant operations staff regarding finance accounting processes and procedures, e. g. , cost centre reviews

- Assist where required with the annual budget process for the region and update forecasts when required

- Assist where required with annual audit

- VAT statements establishment and other Italian tax compliance

- Monthly, quarterly and annual closing finalisation

- Always have an open eye for new ways of working, automatisation process improvements

- Any ad hoc finance tasks & projects

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- At least five years of accounting and/or controlling experience, preferably in an international environment

- Experience of financial control of multi-million EURO projects is ideal, not compulsory

- Excellent analytical ability, with a feel for numbers as well as strong interpersonal and intercultural skills

- Equally important is excellent communication skills

- Highly motivated, business oriented and used to work independently within a matrix based organisation

- Italian, with good English skills.

- Bachelor of Finance or similar

- Experience of the financial control and reporting requirements

- Good working knowledge of SAP + Business analyser

- Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & Powerpoint
