Pramac, part of the third group in the world in the production of diesel and gas generators, is looking for a Sr Application Engineer to be included in its headquarters and main plant in Casole D'Elsa, Siena (Italy). This role will be focused on feasibility analysis, quoting, and technical support for generators dedicated to special projects within data centers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied engineering and an in-depth knowledge of energy solutions for critical environments. Responsibilities Conduct feasibility studies for special generator projects by assessing customer requirements and project specifications. Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate and timely quotations, ensuring that all proposals meet customer needs. Provide advanced technical support to customers and internal teams throughout all project phases, from planning to implementation. Develop and present innovative engineering solutions to optimize the efficiency and performance of generators in data center environments. Stay current with industry regulations and best practices, ensuring that all proposed solutions comply with standards. Participate in customer meetings to discuss requirements, present technical proposals, and offer expert consultations. Collaborate with R&D departments for continuous improvement of products and offered solutions. Knowledge In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and energy standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in teams and manage complex projects. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus. Excellent knowledge of the Office package. High technical knowledge of the product. Good knowledge of the principles of Project Management. Skills Communication and relational skills. Organizational and management skills. Problem-solving and teamwork skills. Self-control and management of stress. Qualifications Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in the role of Application Engineer, preferably in the generator and power systems sector for data centers. Availability to travel in Italy and abroad.
