Job Description
Job Summary
The Sr. Coordinator, Technology Inventory is responsible for ensuring all Technology Assets (equipment) are inventoried and accounted for at all times. They will work with the Inventory Manager to ensure predefined inventory levels are maintained in all warehouse locations and storage facilities. In addition, Coordinators ensure processes and standards are met and provide mentoring to other coordinators.
THIS IS AN ONSITE WORK MODEL: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 7AM - 3:30PM AT OUR OFFICE LOCATED 31 35TH STREET, PGH PA 15201
Key Competencies:
Experience Required: 1 to 3 years previous experience in warehouse inventory (pick, pack and ship)
Must have experience driving a forklift
Education Desired: Associates Degree
Lifting Requirement: Up to 75 pounds
Must have high level of integrity
Attentive to details and high degree of accuracy
Job Responsibilities:
Be responsible for logistics of hardware to arrive on-time for scheduled work in predetermined locations, and for all logging and documentation related to that hardware to be current and up to date to reflect the location of the hardware.
Ensure all tracking and logging on hardware is current and up to date. Assist with database maintenance for inventory of technology assets installed in retail locations and technology sparing available for future installations.
Work with the Inventory Manager to ensure inventory levels are maintained in all storage facilities and provide inventory reporting to management for analysis and budgeting needs.
Ensure documentation and training are up to date and mentor others.
Ensure quality standards are developed and assist in enforcing these standards.
Ensure all policies and standards on IT hardware in retail locations are enforced and practiced.
Prevent unauthorized access to information, assets or restricted areas and report any attempts.
Annually visit retail and RSC locations to perform inventory audits to further ensure accurate logging of inventory.
Support execution and monitoring of loan/exchange equipment to meet customer needs.
Be cognizant of upcoming installs and assist in the coordination of equipment deliveries to these sites.
Provide support to the field team in maintaining trunk stock levels to allow for field support.
Monitor receipt of equipment for upcoming installs alerting Request Services Manager, IT Asset and Inventory Manager, and Central Procurement of outstanding deliveries that could jeopardize equipment installation/retail site opening.
Assist with coordination of equipment disposal for obsolete technology following the government and environmental disposal standards.
