**Job Description **:**Knowledge**:

- **Practical knowledge of Italian institutions and how they operate.

- **General knowledge of market access rules, implementation of public health policies, financing methods for health products.

- **Strong writing, analysis and synthesis skills.

**Specific education and experience requirements**:

- **A degree in political science, a good knowledge of law is highly appreciated.

- **Minimum of two years experience in institutional relations or corporate communications.

Experience in a public affairs agency, a public affairs department of a company or with an institution (ministerial cabinet, parliament, or public agency).

- **Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

External clients include decision-makers, policy makers etc.

- **Requires a bachelor's degree and relevant work experience.

**Specific professional responsibilities**:

- **The position is responsible for conducting independent research and preparing analytical reports, background papers, supporting documents and analysis of the law, legislation and regulations that are used as resources by the company and legislative bodies when making decisions on how to approve and/or amend texts related to public health or its organization.

- **The position will also provide dedicated expertise and time dedicated to legislative, policy and regulatory monitoring and analysis: providing in-depth analysis of the evolution and various laws and regulations that that will improve the government's care of patients.

- **Provide support in the planning and execution of events organized for stakeholders and policy makers to advance public policy.

**Responsibilities include**:

- **Legislative and policy research that will enhance the capacity and support the strategic content of the Government Affairs team.

- **Produce legislative analysis content on various HIV testing proposals and intiatives, and compare with model legislation.

- **Assisting in the development of partnerships with cities without.

- **Support and help organize activities that bring together policymakers and other stakeholders in support of legislative initiatives.

- **Work directly with other internal groups (e. g. , public affairs, legal affairs, international access operations) on projects that support the team environment and cross-functional effectiveness.
