Sr It Project Manager
Team Overview and Job responsibilities
A Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of IT projects through budgeting, management of multifunctional team members, sourcing suppliers, and planning the project release.
This figure will report directly to the PMO office director on the Information Technology department but with a high level of independence for his/her actions at work.
**Who are we looking for?
We are looking for the following key requirements:
- Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs get a project completed, working across departments to ensure their needs are included within the confines of the project and budgetary restrictions
- Host project periodic meetings with team, managers, and other Project Managers to guarantee the Project portfolio alignment
- Provide feedback, advice, project updates, and encouragement to team members
- Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
- Manage large, complex, and international IT projects and programs
- High level of responsibility and accountability
- Resilience and work well under pressure and use their innovative mindset and problem-solving skills to achieve goals on time
- Strong communication and management skills and the ability to follow direction from management, manage budgets and deadlines, and have a history of successfully promoting teamwork
- Leadership qualities, such as motivation techniques and conflict-management
- Time management skills, especially familiarity with calendar management and goal setting
- Knowledge of project management processes and tools
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time with the accepted level of quality
- Ensure team members comply with IT change management policy and company standards, methods, and procedures
- Ability to influence business teams, including management, in the selection and design of technology solutions as well as implementation approaches
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and strong analytical skills, ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment, strong negotiation skills.
Education and Training Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area or equivalent work experience also provides skills in management, organization, and strategic planning,
- Nice to have experience with SAP solutions.
- Nice to have PMI Certification
- Be fluent in English both written and spoken.
