Meet the team: Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare? At Dexcom, our newly created Commercial team is focused on expanding the market in Italy and delivering company growth. Executing on strategy, while working with our partners and customers, will be key to being successful.
Where you come in: You will plan and coordinate the commercial activity in Italy. You will be responsible for managing and developing the commercial team with our distributor partner to maximize their potential and target fulfillment, co-visiting with them, giving feedback, and defining development actions with them.
You will develop and manage cross-functional relationships to build a successful regional team, working with Market Access to improve patient funding opportunities.
You will conduct market analysis and research about customers, competitors, upcoming risks, and opportunities.
You will drive recommendations and use of Dexcom products in the Diabetes Market by providing support services and solutions to HCPs.
You will focus on increasing Dexcom's market share and achieving revenue and patient targets in line with company goals and following Dexcom values and culture.
You will provide input to training on Dexcom products and ancillaries to relevant HCPs or patients in innovative ways.
You will maximize the use of our CRM system to identify business development opportunities and drive efficiency in the field.
You will increase the brand awareness of Dexcom in Italy through targeted activities in cooperation with Marketing.
What makes you successful: Several years of experience in a relevant leader role (sales or commercial, commercial excellence, distributor business) in the diabetes/medical device or pharma industry.
You will have a proven track record of achieving targets and delivering success including building, growing, and managing your team.
Proven track record of commercial successes within the life sciences industry.
Sound experience of analyzing data – collates, organizes, and interprets data to provide clear and comprehensible information to manage a territory.
Strong commercial competencies.
Competent user of a variety of computer software packages, including MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
Understanding of CRM systems.
Full driving license.

Travel Required: 25 to 50% mainly in Italy.
Experience and Education Requirements: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 13+ years of industry experience.
5-8 years of previous management or lead experience.
