Reporting to the Global Product Management Director, you asSenior Pricing Managerwill take the lead driving the profitability of our fast-growing global Commercial Vehicle business unit.
Following our recent acquisition, you will build and manage a team of strong professionals and collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Product colleagues, align existing pricing methods and policies to ensure accurate and successful price management practice.
About the job:
Build and lead pricing team and direct product and sales management to develop appropriate reporting and analysis tools to optimize profitability.
Improve existing pricing process to develop a robust price management practice.
Ensure pricing practices and policies are understood, optimized and followed.
Review existing pricing levels and roll out new pricing or price changes.
Ensure price list updates and processes are accurate and timely.
Coordinate sales region and product line resources for distribution to merge on distribution price list management dealing with currency and other conflicts across products and regions.
Train team in pricing analysis to support product management and inside sales on pricing strategies and quote related activities.
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field
10+ years' experience in pricing (additional sales or marketing experience would be a beneficial)
Experience in global manufacturing or B2B area (automotive, electronics or similar industry)
Excellent negotiation and networking skills
Process improvement and leading change experience (LEAN knowledge would be an advantage)
Proficiency in MS Excel and Access (SAP or JD EDWARDS would be a plus)
Fluent in English and Italian language
