Under the direction and guidance of the HPSS strategic sourcing manager you will be responsible to ensure an efficient supply chain is in place between suppliers and HPSS Fire EMEA.
Procuring parts, goods and services at the lowest total acquisition cost to the business while maintaining and exceeding targets set for supplier quality, OTTR/OTFP performance amongst other key drivers and ensuring continuity of supply throughout the supply chain.
**Principal Responsibilities
- Strategic Supplier Management - Working alongside HPSS Fire EMEA Sourcing & Commodity Management, supporting implementation of strategy to achieve performance targets related to productivity (savings), PPM, OTTR, Emerging Region Spend, working capital initiatives and other site-specific targets.
- Project support related to specific commodities / suppliers
- Data management accuracy.
Support creation, input and publishing of site sourcing KPI's.
- Effective communication to site suppliers of HON policies relating to supplier performance, working capital initiatives and other sourcing initiatives that affect the supply chain.
- Use regular sourcing tools eSourcing, I-Connect, total cost model (TCM)
- Regular supplier visits to discuss sourcing and critical topics
- Placement of identified purchase orders in line with system and generated reports
- Execution of resiliency programmes for continuity of supply
- Insource/localisation transition support
- Stock reduction and Inventory management support
- New Production Implementation process (NPI) support
- Maintaining and performing agreed Leadership Standard Work.
- Full support of all site and corporate continuous improvement initiatives: 5S, HOS
- Tier 3 & sourcing team meeting cover.
- Departmental absences cover provision as required.
- Review monthly performance report with management

**Education Required
- B. S.
in Business, Engineering or other related field required
- Additional supply chain certification an advantage
**Work Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in Procurement or Sourcing
- Working knowledge of supply chain analysis, contract preparations and supplier management principles.
- Knowledge of all aspects of materials management, including negotiating and managing supplier relationships
- Capable of formulating and implementing material sourcing strategies
**Technical Skills & Specific Knowledge Required
- Project Management skills an advantage
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- SAP knowledge a definite advantage

- Demonstrates Leadership skills as a team player, driving value-added results and establishing credibility throughout the organization and with suppliers
- Takes ownership, demonstrates a bias for action, sense of urgency and focus upon continuous improvement
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills coupled with good verbal and written communication skills to support communications occurring between multiple sites and countries
- Strong organizational and leadership skills in an international environment with the ability to lead and drive projects to completion
