We are seeking a

Senior Project Cost Controller

who will be instrumental in

budget management, cost estimation, and financial oversight

.

This role requires close collaboration with

procurement, subcontracting, and construction teams

to ensure

cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and financial accuracy

at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Develop and structure the

Project Cost WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)

and allocate budgets accordingly.

Set up and regularly update the

Monthly Cost Report

, including commitments, actuals, ETC (Estimate to Complete), and allowances.

Conduct

cost variance analysis

, tracking deviations from the current budget and previous periods.

Perform

Cost Risk Analysis

and manage project contingencies.

Oversee

change management processes

, ensuring internal services and subcontractor activities are accurately recorded and approved.

Provide tools and reports for effective

cost control and financial planning

.

Collaborate with

Procurement, Subcontracting, and Construction Site Teams

to align cost strategies.

Lead

on-site meetings

with construction teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Requirements Engineering degree

or equivalent.

7+ years of experience

in cost control roles within

construction, pharmaceutical, chemical, or oil & gas projects

.

Proficiency in

English and Italian

(both written and spoken).

Willingness to

travel

and work on-site as required.

Strong

organizational, analytical, and communication skills

.

Ability to work effectively with

stakeholders at all levels

, including management, clients, and vendors.
