**What you'll do

The Sales Specialist partners with field Account Executives to sell complex technical Customer Intelligence products, solutions and services to prospective and current customers.
Provides in-depth industry or product expertise to facilitate closing deals within the assigned territory.
A sales specialist is not account-assigned; called into accounts as opportunities are identified and may work with account-assigned sales account managers to close sale.
May manage and coordinate the sales and technical team in support of the sale of the company's products.
May also be called on as a technical product expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions, and close complex technical sales.
**You will**:
- Collaborates with field Account Executives to sell specified software, solutions and/or services to current and prospective customers.
- Initiates and supports lead generation activities.
Integrates strategy into overall account plan.
Qualifies leads by analyzing business drivers and technical fit.
- Uses expert domain knowledge to fulfill a wide range of requests for information from prospective customers.
- Qualifies opportunities according to established process.
- Develops opportunities by managing and influencing requirements to gain competitive edge.
Creates and presents sales proposals and systems solutions to successfully communicate the value of the company's products and services.
Leverages other support resources as appropriate.
- Prepares standard quotes and proposal information as needed.
Communicates with other departments to create and finalize contracts and set time schedules for services.
- Facilitates closure of complex sales.
Assists with pricing negotiations and licensing questions.
Engage with enterprise negotiations and licensing operations on price negotiations and licensing questions.
- Develops a basic understanding of company pricing, licensing procedures and approvals matrix.
- Assists Product Management and/or Research and Development by providing information for future product direction.
**What we're looking for
- Advanced knowledge solution development focusing on digital marketing, customer intelligence & marketing analytics
- Excellent knowledge of SAS CI products
- Working knowledge of company pricing and licensing procedures
- Knowledge of advanced sales techniques
- Excellent knowledge of hardware and/or software acquisitions cycles and buying influences
- Advanced skill in analyzing and evaluating territory dynamics and developing sales plans
Excellent written and verbal German & English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel as requiredA keen interest towards a sales role, responsibility and challenges that comes with it.
He/she should be a well-organized, confident, self-motivated, team player, resourceful, responsive, dependable, creative and innovative professional.
