Role Summary

Mavenir is seeking end to end solution architects for 4G/5G Telco and private networks.

Work with Sales on upcoming deals/market demand for 4G/5G RAN, Packet Core, IMS

Work with PLM/SE/RnD/NPI and come up with packaged solutions that fit the demand - including solution design, BOM.

Decide on the best solution keeping customer requirement, cost, return, timelines and after reviewing case specific risks and mitigations.

Agree on the solution feasibility and availability working with PLM/SE/RnD/ST/NPI

Understand business requirements from customer anddesigning the most optimal solution for complex problems, and author High level design document.

Engage through project phase.

Pro-active till design completion, on Demand after that.

See through complete resolution of any solution design level issue that comes up in the project.

Job Requirements

7+ years of experience as Solution architect/RnD/PLM/pre-sales for telecom networks.

Part of the experience must be in cross domain solution architecture.

Excellent technical understanding of RF, RAN and Core solutions and use-cases for 5G/4G TDD/FDD, SA/ NSA, VoLTE/VoNR, mMIMO,

Excellent understanding of a complete telecom network including but not limited to the RAN, packet core, IMS, billing components and high level understanding of the functions and flows on each node.

Good understanding of platform - containers, virtualization.

Experience on Kubernetes or Openshift is desired.

Any experience with public cloud platforms like AWS/Azure is an added plus.

Basic understanding of IP network infrastructure.

Good understanding of ORAN specs, 3gpp, IETF.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to learn fast.
