- Bachelor's degree computer science, systems analysis, or related studies and experience
- 7+ years of experience in the relevant area of expertise within an enterprise / global environment.
- 5+ years of experience in leading technical evaluation, implementing and resolving Voice issues, including those involving 3rd party suppliers.
- Effective communication and presentation skills are vital
**Position Summary
Are you a talented Senior Solution Architect ready to join Nestlé's Information Technology Platform (ITP) Connectivity, Voice and Conferencing team in Milan, Italy? We need you to holistically oversee our enterprise architecture (EA) activities for Voice and Conferencing infrastructure technologies, services and processing solutions including MS Teams Phone System (former Skype for Business Enterprise Voice), Operator Connect and Direct Routing Architectures, Phone Inventory & Management (Poly, Crestron, Yealink), SIP voice services, Telecom billing systems, while constantly delivering tomorrow's innovations to our workforce.
**A day in the life of Senior Solution Architect Voice
- Take on the role of a Lean-Agile leader, defining architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution development.
- Manage adoption, design and integration of Voice architecture with DevOps teams and suppliers to deliver expected business value in an optimal way.
- Supervise design and execute the integration, in collaboration with our Platform Integration team, to ensure a properly defined architecture specification (design, diagrams, process maps, governance and compliance).
- Facilitate evaluation and selection of new products and services, in close collaboration with the business and IS/IT, to accurately capture business requirements and pain points.
- Identify the financial and organizational impact of the solution architecture.
- Provide consulting and design assistance to the business and Platform Manager
- To be the ambassador or our solutions to the Markets, promote and influence to implement and adopt global solutions.
**What will make you successful
- Certified on and/or expertise working with multiple, diverse technologies, services and processing environments including Microsoft Teams Phone System (Enterprise Voice), Cloud Voice and Traditional Telephony experience, or other hybrid event platforms.
- Experience with migration projects from Traditional PBX to Team Phone System.
- Proven ability to support Agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, that take account of technical and architectural needs.
- Experience working in and/or managing advisory councils, industry user groups, and key technology partners (vendors, Account Managers, Platform Managers, Lab advocates and Executives).
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments, to be a "vendor agnostic".
- Excellent understanding of system development lifecycle methodologies & architectural modelling, leading industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester), and new evolving business models.
- Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements.
- Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.
- Strong experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization in English.
