For more information, please visit www.thermofisher.com. Position Summary: The Global Program Management Director will be responsible for overseeing and running complex, multi-disciplinary programs that span across multiple regions/sites.
This role requires critical thinking, outstanding leadership, and the ability to manage individuals at all levels.
The Global Program Management Director will work closely with cross-functional teams (such as Program & Project Management Office, Site GMs, Quality Project Lead) to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement program strategies, objectives, and plans in alignment with the company's global goals. Lead and run multiple global programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including quality, operations, to achieve program objectives. Build and maintain positive relationships with collaborators, including customers, partners, and internal team members. Monitor program progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Prepare and present regular program status reports to senior management and other collaborators. Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and industry standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness. Handle program budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on financial performance. Develop a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the program team. Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects at the sitesAnalyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers, customers, and collaborators. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in program management, with a focus on global or multinational programs. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage collaborators at all levels. Excellent Program Management skillsExtensive Customer orientationProficient in project management tools and methodologies (e. g. , PMP, Agile, Scrum). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Willingness to travel internationally as required.
