Opal are the National Intelligence Unit for Serious and Organised Acquisitive Crime and we are growing and developing our capabilities!
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Intelligence Development Officer to undertake a Two** year secondment or fixed term contract** to work within the serious, organised acquisitive crime (SOAC) National Intelligence team.
We are looking for a dynamic, driven and experienced applicant to join our team.
This is an exciting time to join us as our new SOAC Strategy 2022-25 has recently been launched.
The purpose of the role is to develop intelligence in line with Opal Terms of Reference, taking account of national SOAC strategy and the Opal delivery plan.
Providing a National focus on Serious and Organised Acquisitive Crime.
We work extensively with partners from agriculture to business crime in order to make the UK a hostile environment for would-be offenders and prevent crime from occurring.
**The role being advertised is entirely remote and we are looking for the very best to join our team!
The secondment/Fixed Term Contract is for 24 months.
