Overall Job Purpose:
Cardo Roma Hotel, one of the facilities of the Marriott group, is looking for a young talent to join our dynamic Events Department as an intern.
If you are passionate about events, hospitality and wish to gain experience in the luxury hotel sector.
Qualification & Skills: Fluent in both English and ItalianExcellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team and under pressure. Managing several tasks simultaneously, especially during events, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Understand and anticipate guests' needs, creating customized experiences that meet their expectations. Passion for the world of events and the hospitality sector. Education and Experience: Degree or diploma in tourism, hospitality or related disciplines. Previous experience in events or customer service is considered a plus. Principal Accountabilities: Support in the planning and organisation of corporate events, weddings and conferences. Coordination with suppliers and various internal functions (logistics, marketing). Assisting with the set-up and supervision of events on site. Support in the creation and management of programmes for events, including the definition of timetables, schedules and logistical requirements. Coordination with the catering department to ensure that menus are tailored to the needs of guests and that catering services are impeccably executed. Handling of special guest requests and timely resolution of any last-minute problems or changes. Monitoring and updating daily event-related activities. Participation in weekly meetings to update the team on event planning and operational priorities. Seniority level: Internship
